METAVISI EDUCATION CENTER for APPLIED
TECHNOLOGY and ARTS Foundation

Established in Bogor, West Java, Indonesia in 2014 - MECATA Foundation focuses on activities towards development of technology and arts literated societies. Those aims may be achieved basically through education activities. It implies formal and non-formal education, that are conducted in certain levels and fields. Research and Development are the most valuable resourches to build know-how and know-what that fuel the education endeavour itself. Therefore Research and Development capability is also built and organized to induce and stimulate to be more awared and concerned to the role of technology and arts in their life.

MECATA Foundation was founded by a number of staff of PT. Metavisi Sentra Integra's, a Design & Manufacturing Company located in Bogor, West Java, Indonesia, who have been working together for more than 20 years. They have general same perspectives in seeing many aspects of living and business. After years, they have finally arrived at the same strong desire to contribute in the movement of empowering people around in facing future challenges. From their point of view and experience, future will be different for those who are mastering technology and arts. These issue have to be put as the main emphasize in initiating the movement.

Along with the participation of senior staff,
PT. Metavisi Sentra Integra and its affiliated companies as a business group, is also acting as the initial financial source. In fact, the focus of interest of MECATA Foundation is in the same direction of Metavisi businesses' direction.

MECATA is drived by 4 individuals who have been working together for more than 20 years. They run the foundation as the board of executives. MECATA has an honour to receive the participation of those who are willing to take roles as foundation councils. Their experience and wisdom are excellent mixture to the energy of the executives.

MECATA concentrates its activities in a green neighborhood in the surrounding of Salak Mount, Bogor, West Java, Indonesia. A home base is built as a campus of the foundation's education and research activities. The campus can be reached within less than an hour from the capital city, Jakarta, by just taking a straight line high-way to the south.
